JUAN PAJUELO
Economist, holds an MBA in International Business/finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and M.A. in International Business from the School for Advanced Economic Studies of FAAP University (Brazil). He has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the School of Economic Sciences of FMU University in Sao Paulo-Brazil.
Juan Pajuelo is an Entrepreneur and International Trade Consultant with extensive experience working with SMEs organizations to maximize their operations and global growth. He founded Athena Corporate Advisors Inc., in 2011, a firm specialized in International Trade Consulting. His work experience in the international market (Latin American, South Asia and African regions) is extensive and includes corporate governance and management, economic analysis, maximization of companies' market value, and efficient utilization of resources. Prior to launching Athena, he led the research team for the Latin American & Iberian region for Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). Juan Pajuelo currently serves as the Commercial Adviser and Vice-Chairman of Piura (Peru) and the State of Maryland's Sister City Committee. Developing financial strategies and maximizing an organizations efficiency and effectiveness is his passion.
FERNANDO NIETO
Mr. Nieto is an international senior consultant and holds a Master in International Business Law from George Washington Law School.
Fernando Nieto is an international senior consultant with expertise in implementing and supervising the execution of public policy projects, under different models of public-private partnership, as well as in the analysis and implementation of institutional capacity strategies in public sectors.
His experience includes advising international organizations and governments in public policy, trade, regulatory matters with solid knowledge of their procedures, dynamics and guidelines. Furthermore he has served as a senior consultant in The World Bank, Panamerican Health Organization, Prospera Consultores, Banco de Credito, and Grupo Invertir. He has also worked both in the public and private sectors by performing technical, legal and communicational advice to highest authorities, both at the national and international arena, as well as analyzing political and social trends in the Latin-American and Caribbean Region.
